Our first feature film was an Indian regional language Kannada feature film titled 'SIDDHI SEERE' which was created in 2019 and had a very successful theatrical release
PLOT
The film is based on a true story and revolves around 'Siddhi' a seemingly untouchable, old aged widow who is the daughter of a freedom fighter living in a small village. She lives on begging alms as she was accidentally granted Deekshe (religious initiation) by the village spiritual Guru thus making her “Sharane” – The Renounced One. After attending the funeral of another “Sharane”, she realizes the need for a rich Saree to robe her body when she dies. She thinks only a rich saree would pave the way to Kailasa, Abode of Lord Shiva (heaven). This poor innocent old woman embarks on a difficult journey to earn it and faces many daunting hurdles and life-changing challenges along the way.

The film saw its theatrical release in October 2019 and was well received by the public. It also hit theaters in Canada in the same year.

The film was shortlisted to be screened at New York Lift-Off International Film Festival. It also gained many votes and was critically acclaimed as one of the Great Classic collections of all time.
Siddhi's Saree made its way to Hollywood's Raleigh's Studio where many popular personalities from the film endorsed the movie.
Furthermore, following its successful theatrical release, the film was nominated to screen at Tokyo Lift-Off International Film Festival 2020. Although the festival was conducted virtually due to the covid-19 pandemic, the film still gained an impressive amount of votes. As you may see, Siddhi's Saree is listed as number 3 under the most-watched films category.
CREW BEHIND THIS EFFORT
Siddhi's Saree was truly a work of art in the world of filmmaking. As it was based on a true story, there were several difficult aspects to be considered. For example the task of making the film very dramatic yet still engaging for the audience. The production team had the goal of blending the essence of reality cinema with raw village drama.
This super compelling story was a debut directional endeavor by 'Brahmanand Reddy' a multi-talented professional who holds numerous academic qualifications:

In the movie and filmmaking industry, he specializes in 2D Classical Animation, acting for animation, and storyboarding. He leads a team of animation and visual effects specialists that have worked on several successful projects in Hollywood.
The noteworthy characters of the film are attributed to the incredible performances of the film's protagonist Sudha Narasimharaju, daughter of veteran comedian Narasimharaju, as well as Mahalakshmi Urs, Swarnachandra, Ravishankar, and many others.
